I am reading yet one more article in my local paper regarding Governor Newsom (and I use the term “Governor” loosely) trying to run other states. This time he is pontificating about GOP states, abortion laws and other topics that are supported by red-leaning states and candidates. He’s set up an ad campaign. Please tell me my tax dollars aren’t paying for it. Full disclosure – I am pro-life, I don’t think it’s my business to tell other women what to do, but I don’t want to pay for their choices. As someone who tried so hard to have a child I wish there were other options than abortion as a first choice.
It appears Mr. Newsom is setting himself up as a probable presidential candidate but I wish he would stop running around the country and China and focus on the disaster that is California and stop trying to fix other states. We have a budget that is billions in debt, we have homeless people everywhere, our former beautiful cities are trashed (I am never going back to San Francisco, which used to be one of my favorite cities, and L.A. is awful as well…just saying), crime is rampant, the border is wide open, and due to this one-party state and misguided policies, many are fleeing from California. I’m planning to flee as well. I hope people wake up soon and see that Newsom and his Democratic legislature are failing this formerly great state. I used to be proud of being a California native. Not anymore.
By the way – raise your hand if you watched the debate between Newsom and De Santis. Did Newsom actually answer any questions? If so, I missed them.
