Presidential Debate

I usually don’t spend a lot of time discussing politics.  I respect all viewpoints. I like to learn what others think.  And a lot of times people don’t respect my viewpoint.   I have been called a Q-Anon right wing wacko by a family member…and I didn’t even know what that meant.  Yes, I am a moderate conservative. Not extreme wacko.  I just lean more right while hearing and appreciating what others have to say.

But after watching the first presidential debate I am going to say:

Shame on the mainstream media who pretended Mr. Biden was still cognitive.  And now after the debate they are suddenly surprised?   Really?  This is a surprise?  I have been watching years of tapes of him failing and stumbling and being really creepy.  I do watch other news sources such as SkyNews.Au and Townhall as well as MSM.  It’s both laughable and disheartening that everyone is scrambling to make excuses for Mr. Biden’s cognitive decline.  I had several friends tell me this week that it was “just a cold.”  Nope.  Maybe a cold that night but that doesn’t excuse his confusion.  For several years.  Dems are mourning the fact that they have a leader who is just not up to the task and they are suddenly stunned. Oh, and don’t get me started on his press secretary – that is probably the worst job ever.

Shame on Jill Biden and family members who want to continue to prop him up.  He served the country and did his part even if some of us didn’t agree with his agenda.  Some good, some not so good.  It’s time for him to retire.

As a nation I think we have become a laughingstock.  Biden’s continued weakness is an asset for China, Russia and North Korea. 

I wish that we could find some strong, moderate candidates who can bring the country back together.  Biden campaigned on unity – that isn’t happening. 

Full disclosure – President Trump was my 17^th choice of 17 candidates during 2016 and I was surprised that he ended up being the Republican candidate.  Looking at 4 years of his term and 4 years of Biden’s…I did a lot better under Trump’s term.  As did a lot of other Americans.
