Many of you know I lean somewhat right politically. I don’t promote it much because friends of mine who lean left learn that about me and then they shun me or say things like “Well, you are a Republican but I like you anyway.” ?? It is fascinating that family members whom I loved (yes, I still love them although they now think I’m persona non grata) have decided I am somehow evil and have denounced me because I thought Kamala was not qualified and won’t talk to me anymore. It’s silly.
I embrace dialog and I love learning about how others think, and I welcome everyone’s viewpoint. But I will not accept violence in order to crush the opinions of those who don’t agree with you. What happened to civility and healthy conversation?
I loved listening to Charlie Kirk. He was a huge commitment to conservative viewpoints and headed up an empire to get young people thinking. He helped bring President Trump back to the White House. He is a hero. He was engaging and thoughtful and listened to those who didn’t agree. He is leaving behind a beautiful wife and children and shame on those who condemned him. Whether you agree with him or not, you have to agree that he shouldn’t be gunned down for his convictions. The shooter is a coward and I hope he is found and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Prayers for Charlie and his family. I am angry.
